Founded in 2000, Rick Ortiz Productions has provided entertainment for such events as the Hispanic Delegates to the 2000 Democratic Convention, American Latino Media Awards, Concerts in the Park series, various award shows, corporate events, and others. We have also independently produced WAR along with Lil' Willie G. and Thee Midniters reunion show at the Quiet Cannon in Montebello; Mariachi, Spirit of Mexico at the Greek Theater; Tierra/EI Chicano at the House of Blues of Sunset; and others.

In 2007, Rick Ortiz was honored by being selected one of the LATINO OC 100. A prestigious recognition given to the best, brightest, upcoming, influential and successful Latinos in Orange County that are making positive contributions to the Hispanic community.
